This past weekend Veronica and the cast of King Lear had the pleasure of working with a crew of amazing kids on acting, improv and playwriting to develop an original show of their own!
Dean Productions does some INCREDIBLE work with youth affected by cancer, offering this theater bootcamp, along with a filmmaking bootcamp on opening weekend. This coming Saturday, before the mainstage show at 8pm, the kids will perform their original monologue play in front of the live audience at 7:15pm, followed by a voluntary Q&A with the audience. After their performance, participants will receive hands-on training by assisting the filmmakers from Spotlight on Hope while they film King Lear!
Veronica is grateful that she got to play with these feisty little humans for a day and that she works for a company that uses its resources to inspire and empower children in need 💞
